an original method of sound
therapy and therapeutic relaxation
music developed for the expression
and integration of the emotions.
The School for INNER SOUND
offers a selection of different
courses - both practitioner
& non-practitioner training
- which are open to everyone.
No previous experience is required
to attend any of our Basic Level
or Introductory courses and
you can also study on a distance
learning or presence basis.
School
for INNER SOUND
The School
for INNER SOUND offers
workshops and practitioner training
in the use of different sound
sources and techniques - tuning
forks, the OM
Flute, the
voice, or recorded
healing music - for
the purposes of creating well-being
and relaxation. INNER
SOUND can also be used
for personal development.
What
makes INNER SOUND different
to other forms of
sound therapy?
INNER SOUND is a method-based
system developed by Arden &
Jack Wilken. Composer &
Sound Therapist Arden Wilken
first began creating music for
individuals that would support
them during periods of transition,
creativity, personal development,
illness, or short or long-term
stress. Jack Wilken developed
SSRS - Spectrum Sound Resonance
System - a range of psychoacoustic
effects that were developed
to enhance the effects of this
sound healing system.
During the past 30 years, INNER
SOUND has developed into an
original system of therapeutic
music & sound therapy based
on the use of specific melodies
& rhythmic patterns that
create change on a mental, emotional,
physical and energetic basis.
Through her investigations
composing Personal Music for
thousands of individuals, Arden
Wilken, has identified over
50 short melodies or musical
phrases with specific effects
that promote movement and restore
balance in different systems
in the body and release tensions
relating to different emotional
themes.
The INNER SOUND motifs form
the base of all the techniques
we offer, giving you different
ways you can use them to help
release emotional blockages
& tensions in your body.
(For more information, read
'Sonic Pathways')
You can apply them as 'pure'
sound in sequences of pairs
of tuning forks that are placed
near the ears; you can listen
to them as part of the musical
recordings that are enhanced
with psychoacoustic effects;
or you can learn to sing them
using simple exercises to help
enhance their effect as you
do.
INNER
SOUND Music CDs
Arden
has composed over 20 different
CD titles for specific themes
including improving memory &
concentration, greater communication
& self-expression; physical
vitality and developing creativity
& intuition.
Therapeutic music and sound can
be used to maintain health, promote
relaxation or to support any form
of therapy.
Sound & music stimulates
the hearing mechanism and the
cranial bones. Bone conduction
& vibration produce a corresponding
movement through all systems
of the body and at all levels
- remember those 'musical thrills'
tingling down your spine?
You
can use Sound Healing and Therapeutic
Music to:
- Enhance any type of treatment
session - complementary
therapy, massage, beauty
- Increase your client's
capacity to relax both mind
& body
- Recover more quickly from
an illness or injury
- Improve your communication
skills
