Aims and Objectives: Introductory Course


This course introduces you to the therapeutic benefits of sound and music and also introduces you to elements of the Inner Sound method of sound therapy.

This course is especially for you:

  • If you are a musician and want to receive more pleasure and healing from the music you play
  • If you know nothing about the field and want to begin
  • If you work with people as a practitioner or therapist (Alternative or traditional) and want to use sound and music more effectively in your practice
  • If you are looking for a simple yet effective tool you can use daily for physical well-being, emotional stability or personal growth


Course Content


Our Sound Therapy Introductory Course covers:

  • History of music as a 'healing art' and therapeutic uses of sound and music
  • (Musical journey through 2000 years of music)
  • How sound benefits: the mind, the body, the emotions and the subtle energy fields
  • Using your own voice to heal yourself (Autophonetics)
  • Theory of Harmonics: there are 2 kinds, each with a specific effect on the organism
  • A therapeutic sound experience with Tibetan and Crystal Bowls, digeridu, Mongolian throat chanting and tuning forks (Inner Sound Spiral of Fifths tuning forks)
  • How to use music you don’t like to clear emotional 'blockages' or tensions and old patterns
